About
People love to ask me “Why balloons?” or “How did you get into it?” Balloon art isn’t just ‘balloon animals’ to me, it’s more than that. It taught me how to communicate with people (I’m very much an introvert). It taught me the basics of business. It helped me learn how to get my own clients and how to establish good relationships with them. It made me excited to find new ways to improve the experience so it gets better every year! It also filled a personal void because I don’t experience annual family gatherings. Balloon art gave me the opportunity be around warm and welcoming families during the most treasured moments of the year.
I’ve also developed some amazing friendships with clients, fellow balloon artists, face painters, photographers, bakers and event planners! I’ve grown so much as an artist and as a person because of my experience with balloons. I appreciate every single person who has been part of this journey — every person who has encouraged me, who clapped at my accomplishments, who included me in their events, who checked in on me to make sure I was okay when I recently hurt my both of hands. Because of all of you, I am always excited for the next opportunity to celebrate. Thank you for your kindness, love and support! #balloonworkz
